We are excited to announce the latest Whitespace release, packed with enhancements across three key platform areas; Contract Production, Tagging/Editing Risks and Facilities. Some of the standout features in this release include our new Contract Builder, Defined Data Entry View and Facility Sharing.

Contract builder

Brokers can easily access the new Contract Builder via the ‘Create New’ button when entering their risk. Both underwriters and brokers can now seamlessly insert content from their library through the actions button. This library connection gives users the confidence that the contract they are sending to the market is accurate, up-to-date and consistent across the entire business.

CDR/Defined Data Entry

Version 3.1 also introduces several new features to enhance contract editing and tagging. CDR tag names have been added, allowing users to easily identify which tags correspond with CDR references. A new ‘Preview’ button provides a sneak peek of how contract changes will appear in the final exported documents. Additionally, the Defined Data Entry view focuses the contract editing view allowing users to quickly view and update tags only.

Facilities

Facilities can now be shared (with assigned permissions), making them accessible by multiple teams across a broking business. Users can also mark facilities as either Inactive or Expired, ensuring that anyone placing a declaration has a clear understanding of the current facility status.

Knowledge base

In response to user feedback, Whitespace guides and release notes have been moved to the brand new ‘Knowledge Base’, making is easier to and bookmark guides and release notes for quick reference. This enhances the self-service support, bringing helpful assistance closer to every user, so be sure to share it with your teams!

Other key updates include more options for exporting verticalized contracts, clickable URLs in Whitespace chat and contract line items and additional tag options for even greater flexibility.
